Empowering Evidence Workshop

Evidence-based practice is at the heart of modern, interdisciplinary clinical practice, and a core competency of most health professional programs. The Empowering Evidence Workshop is an opportunity for University-affiliated clinical instructors to come together with their peers, hone their EBP skills, and learn how to better teach the discipline of EBP to their students.

Learning Objectives

  • Establish a common understanding of the process of evidence-based practice.
  • Describe distinction between patient- and disease-oriented evidence.
  • Develop strategies for effectively teaching and mentoring others in EBP.

The University of Minnesota is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
