[email protected]Erin Reardon, MFA, MLIS, is an Assistant Librarian at the Health Sciences Library and is one of three liaisons to the Medical School. She holds a BA in English from Georgia College & State University, an MFA in Creative Writing from New Mexico State University, and an MLIS from Valdosta State University.
Erin comes to the University of Minnesota by way of Louisiana, where she served for two years as a reference and instruction librarian at LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport. In this role she supported the schools of medicine, allied health, and basic sciences in literature searches, instruction, and the research needs of students and faculty. Her other experience includes teaching freshman composition and developmental composition at the community college and university levels and a stint in the health insurance industry.
Areas of interest
Evidence-based practice, systematic reviews, literature searching, health literacy, and the humanities in medicine.
