The vision of the Health Sciences Libraries’ Outreach Services is to create a healthier Minnesota through education and access to reliable, evidence-based health information that will support health care providers and empower patients and caregivers to make informed health decisions.

Outreach Services provides education and training on evidence-based practice and health information literacy issues to students and faculty in the Academic Health Center as well as to health professionals, public librarians, and the general public across the state.

We work individually and with partners to bring quality health information to our state with the goal of informing care, enhancing lifelong learning, and growing patient empowerment.
