[email protected]Carmen Elwell, MLIS, is the Health Sciences Access & Information Services Manager for the Health Sciences Library.
Carmen earned a BA in English from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2014, and an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017. She began her library career at the Architecture Library at the University of Minnesota as a student employee in 2012 and spent two years as the Reference & Instruction Librarian at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, New York after earning her MLIS. She then returned to the University of Minnesota as the Daytime Student Supervisor at the Health Sciences Library in 2019 and became the Access & Information Services Manager in 2023.
