Ai Miller is a Library Assistant in the Health Sciences Library, and assists with reference research and library workshops for staff and students.

Zie came to UMN to pursue a PhD in History, but has a lifetime of library experience, as a third generation library worker. Zie grew up in Toledo, OH, where hir parents worked at a public and school library respectively, went to boarding school in eastern Ohio, and then got a BA in History from Knox College in Galesburg, IL. Zie worked as a student in the Newberry Library in Chicago, and came back to UMN after a stint as a Library/Media paraprofessional at Hopkins High School. When not working at HSL, zie can be found slowly working on hir dissertation, catching up on an endless backlog of books, and watching the same three Star Wars movies over and over again.
