Instructional Support

The Veterinary Medical Library and Bio-Medical Library provide library instruction that teaches students, faculty, and staff to fully utilize library resources and materials, as well as to develop lifelong information seeking skills.

We offer two types of classes:

  • Library Workshops are in-house sessions open to all University students, staff and faculty regarding a variety of library resources and research techniques.
  • Course-integrated instruction enhances and supports teaching and learning. In consultation with instructors, sessions are designed to teach skills and resources specific to a course or assignment. Interested faculty should contact André Nault to request a customized session.

Classes are free for all University of Minnesota affiliates.

Additional Instruction Resources

The College of Veterinary Medicine provides educational support resources through their intranet (authentication required).  This web-based tool provides instructional support resources for the DVM program and is available to all faculty, staff, and students at the College of Veterinary Medicine.  Resources are grouped by broad categories that include DVM curriculum, teaching performance, educational research, learning about teaching, forms and policies, and technology.
