Disembodied Reembodied
About the exhibit
Join us to celebrate and learn more about Jenny Schmid's Artist-in-Residence project Disembodied Reembodied.
Disembodied Reembodied addresses medical depictions of women’s bodies in the library collection and will also feature take-home zines and interactive online content. Disembodied Reembodied is a collaborative project between Schmid, Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology & Medicine curators Emily Beck and Lois Hendrickson, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Ethics Jaime Konerman-Sease.
This project is funded by the inaugural 2024 RIO artist in residence grant supporting art and science collaboration.
