2026 Student and Community Showcase
Explore the fourth annual “Student & Community Showcase” at the Wangensteen Historical Library of Biology and Medicine (WHL) to see how students from a variety of academic disciplines use historical materials from the WHL in their coursework, internships, and research projects. From learning about printmaking techniques and exploring vision in art, to using history to imagine new ways of improving patient care, researchers at the Wangensteen Historical Library show us how historical resources can transport us to new places.

The Health Sciences Library (HSL) is launching a search for two librarian positions to work together as a team to provide core librarian expertise to two health sciences colleges/schools at the University of Minnesota. We welcome experienced librarians, librarians who are new to the field, and those with another advanced degree and relevant experience to apply.
