[email protected]Sarah Jane Brown, MSc, is an Assistant Librarian at the Health Sciences Library and a liaison to the College of Pharmacy and the Medical School, Duluth Campus. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota and an MSc in Information and Library Studies from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sarah began her library career as a Technical Information Specialist at Medtronic. Before coming to the University of Minnesota, she served as a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Her experience includes supporting a large-scale scientific study at the National Academy of Sciences and teaching English to middle- and high-school students in South Korea. Her areas of interest include literature searching, evidence-based practice, and curriculum-integrated bibliographic instruction.
