Meet with a librarian


Our librarians consult with individuals and small groups on a wide range of topics around finding and using health information. We can:

  • Work with you to refine your research question,
  • Identify library resources to answer your question,
  • Create search strategies to find relevant studies,
  • Get individuals and teams started on using tools like citation managers

The consultation service is freely available to Twin Cities campus-affiliated faculty, staff, and students who are requesting consultation on a health sciences topic. 

Consultation requests by faculty, staff and students in the health sciences colleges/schools are prioritized for completion. 

Consultation requests by affiliates of other colleges/schools on the Twin Cities campus may be accepted but service is dependent on librarian capacity. HSL Librarians may refer requests from non-health sciences affiliates to colleagues in other University Libraries service areas.
