Consultation Hub

The Bio-Medical Library’s Consultation Hub is dedicated to teaching and learning related to the knowledge lifecycle: defining an information need, organizing information, using information, and creating new knowledge.

The Consultation Hub is a semi-enclosed area immediately inside the library’s main entrance, and adjacent to the service desk and tech-enabled spaces.

The space contains whiteboards and three tables, each seating up to three people. Two of the tables in the common area include computers.

Connect with your Subject Librarian

The Consultation Hub is a great place to meet with your Subject Librarian. Each school, college, and center within the UMN Academic Health Center has a dedicated librarian with expertise in finding and using information in their assigned discipline.

Take a moment to meet your subject librarian and schedule a consultation today.

Become a Partner

The Bio-Medical Library seeks partners who wish to expand the reach and visibility of their consultation services within our library space.

We look forward to working with partners who provide services that support and foster the knowledge lifecycle - including the creation and management of content and knowledge in all its forms. These partnerships are intended to benefit students and faculty, and advance the mission of both groups
